Chance Auction

More information about this year's Chance Auction coming soon!

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

This year's feature artist, Karen Pankow of Castile, was a first-time participant in the 2010 Perry Chalk Art Festival, where her design won a People's Choice Award.

Karen was drawn to art as a child and furthered her artistic development with classes at St. Bonaventure University and through independent exploration. Karen's current primary focus is on oil and mixed water media.

Karen has exhibited her work at the Wyoming County Arts Council Gallery and the Wyoming County Fair, and she is currently leading a group in the creation of Art Trading Cards.

Karen states: my work usually develops from a random thought, idea or image that resonates within me long enough to give me the inspiration and courage to put pen to paper.

Creek Bend - specializes in contemporary and traditional bluegrass with a smattering of Cajun, country and humor. They've won the Gettysburg and Erie County Fair Bluegrass Championships and their recordings have been hailed with critical acclaim.

Kelly's Old Timers - This local favorite and Perry tradition has been performing for over 60 years! Be ready to square dance, waltz, polka, or just tap your toes and have fun when they perform at the Chalk Art Festival.
